Privacy and Personal Information
Your privacy is important to PINE. Our most important asset is our members' and visitors' trust. Keeping member/visitor information secure, and using it only as they would want us to, is a top priority. Here then, is our promise to our members:
- We will safeguard, according to strict standards of security and confidentiality, any information our members and visitors share with us.
- We will limit the use of member/visitor information to the minimum we require to deliver superior service to our members/visitors, which includes advising our members/visitors about our products, services and other opportunities, and to administer our business.
- We will not reveal member/visitor information to any external organization unless we have previously informed the customer in disclosures or agreements, have been authorized by the member/visitor, or are required by law. We will always maintain control over the confidentiality of our member/visitor information. We may, however, facilitate relevant offers from reputable companies. These companies are not permitted to retain any member/visitor information unless the member/visitor has specifically expressed interest in their products or services.
Security Policy
We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using a third party credit card processor that utilizes Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. They store information gathered on secure computers located in a locked data center. The number of employees involved in the management of the data center that have physical access to these computers is limited. They use firewalls and other security technology to prevent their computers from being accessed by unauthorized persons.
Refund Policy
If PINE is notified 48 hours prior to a registered event date that an attendee will not be attending, then we will credit /refund that registration. Within 48 hours there may be a small processing/cancellation fee depending on the program. If after an event an attendee is not satisfied with the content of that event, they must contact the Program Director immediately with a written explanation for credit towards a future event or a credit/refund.
Other transactions, such as Dues, Sponsorships, Booth & Table Sales, Award Orders, Advertising and Subscriptions do not generally have a refund component and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Products that are shipped unused may be returned for a full refund within 30 days.
Shipping Policy
For products actually shipped, PINE will use FedEx or UPS or a carrier designated by the purchaser with costs being passed along to the purchaser. |
