Merrill Corp. leaves Woburn for
larger facility in Tewksbury, Mass. The relocation has expanded Merrill’s production and warehouse space resulting in improved workflow and capabilities. All 106 employees from the Woburn location will continue to work at the Tewksbury facility. The Woburn facility was opened in 2000. “We remain committed to the community and are excited about the opportunities on the horizon,” said Roy Gross, president of Merrill’s Marketing and Communication Solutions business. “We’re now able to accommodate a broader range of projects and are well-positioned to grow our offerings for clients.” With the move, Merrill continues to invest in the newest digital print and production equipment and communications technology. A state-of-the-art conveyor system has been added in the Tewksbury facility, increasing pack-to-ship efficiency. The company also plans to update color digital print capabilities and bring additional finishing equipment online throughout 2008. Tewksbury becomes one of Merrill’s primary fulfillment and distribution centers and also one of the company’s network of full-service printing facilities across the United States. In addition to U.S. operations, Merrill is an integrated firm with global offices operating 24-hours a day to provide brand consistency and cost-effective, flexible solutions across international markets. The new facility is at 515 Woburn St., Tewksbury, MA 01876 and can be reached at 978-442-1400. About Merrill Corporation |
