BFS Business Printing has installed an HP Indigo Press 5500 to increase productivity by reducing the turnaround time of short-run applications. The Indigo 5500, recently promoted as the newest top-of-the-line HP Indigo Press, supports a wider variety of print media production while catering to a higher volume than the Indigo 3500.

The demand for high quality color printing with a fast turnaround has grown rapidly for BFS Business Printing. The Indigo 5500 new press is being operated alongside the company’s new Canon ImagePress 7000 to provide a wider variety of applications to complement the company’s existing commercial offset division.

The acquisition of the HP Indigo 5500 gives BFS Business Printing a new edge in print capabilities.

The HP Indigo 5500 will be used primarily for short run orders to simultaneously achieve the look and feel of authentic offset printing and high resolution photo quality.
