Industry Awards
Gala caps positive year A chock-filled agenda of individual awards and association membership recognitions combined with the Awards of Excellence, a new print awards competition organized by PINE, resulted in a full evening. Randy Davidson, who founded WhatTheyThink.com web site for industry professionals, was named this year’s recipient of PINE’s Influencer Award. The award was accepted by Joe Webb, Ph.D., an industry consultant and business partner of Davidson’s.
Kitty St. Sauveur, president of the Alliance Print Group in Boston, was named by the Printing & Publishing Council of New England as the 2007 recipient of the Benjamin Franklin Printer of the Year Award. Fifty-three Pinnacle Awards were presented to companies to recognize top honors in various categories within the new Awards of Excellence competition. In addition, nearly 100 second and third place awards
were presented, marking a significant level of participation among PINE
member companies in this new program. “It was a very successful evening across the
board,” said PINE President Jim Tepper. |
Individual achievement and stellar performance by print service providers
companies filled the spotlight at Printing Industries of New
England’s annual Industry Awards Gala last month, which
was attended by more than 300 people.
UniGraphic,
a full-service graphic communications provider in Woburn, Mass., received
PINE’s Dedication to Education Award.
