9 northeast companies among Best Workplaces in Americas
Nine printing and graphic communications companies from the northeastern United States were among 47 companies nationally to be recognized by a panel of human resources professionals as having superior workplace environments.

The panel served as the judging body for the 2007 Best Workplace in the Americas Awards, organized by Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (PIA/GATF).

Among this year’s winners are Boutwell Owens & Co. in Fitchburg, Mass., Courier Corp. with headquarters in North Chelmsford, Mass., Cohber Press in West Henrietta, N.Y., and Hammer Packaging in Rochester, N.Y., all previous winners in the awards program.
