The Smith Print expands bindery capability
Norwell, Mass. printer installs new Vijuk 321-T saddle stitcher
The Smith Print, Inc., a full-service commercial printer in Norwell, Mass., has installed a Vijuk 321-T Saddle Stitcher.

“We chose to upgrade our bindery with the Vijuk 321-T in part because the system provides six pockets plus a cover feeder and runs considerably faster than our previous equipment,” said David Cohen, chief operating officer of The Smith Print Inc.

“With the Rima stacker and Fenimore punch options, we have greatly improved stitching and trimming productivity. Vijuk was instrumental in demonstrating the quality of its in-line scoring on covers of various stocks and weights and the heavy-duty construction of the entire system.”

Since 1938, Smith Print, a family-owned company, has built a reputation in the greater Boston area based on quality and exceptional customer service. The equipment was sold and will be serviced by Pasquariello Graphics, Inc. of North Attleboro, Mass.
