printing has Nextgen seeing green Nextgen has received Forest Stewardship Council (“FSC”) Chain-of-Custody certification, which means materials printed on FSC Certified stocks come from responsibly managed forests, and help reduce the impact of paper production on the environment. “Thanks to FSC Chain-of-Custody certification, we can be confident, and our customers can rest assured, that certified products leaving our facility have come from responsible forestry sources. It is good to know that we are doing our part to promote the highest and best use of limited forest resources and that we are helping to reduce damage and waste to the world’s forests,” said Nextgen President John Rothstein. In addition to becoming FSC certified, Nextgen is utilizing more recycled papers. For example, Nextgen’s newest house stock is an FSC Certified mixed sheet with 50 percent recycled content, 25 percent of that being post-consumer content. Also, Nextgen’s new headquarters and manufacturing facility is using all new, Energystar-rated HVAC equipment and the company’s impact on the environment is diminished even further. “It is important that we use our natural resources carefully,” said Paul Rothstein, Nextgen’s chief executive officer. “I have always tried to run my business in a socially responsible manner, but now it is personal.
