New Haven printer adds Kodak DirectPress
“Superior front end” convinces Harty Integrated Solutions
Harty Integrated Solutions recently purchased a Kodak DirectPress 5634 DI press digital offset press to bolster short run color printing capabilities. The DirectPress 5634 press fills a gap between the New Haven, Conn., printer’s toner-based color printer and its 40-inch color presses.

George Platt, president of Harty Integrated Solutions, said he selected the DirectPress 5634 for its workflow, speed and quality output.

“Many of our customers are attracted to the benefits of short run color printing, such as time and costs savings,” Platt said. “Also, we’re committed to combining the time and cost savings with great color. The DirectPress allows us to lower turnaround time and offer flexible run lengths at top quality.”

Founded in 1900, Harty Integrated Solutions blends technology with talented printing professionals to offer an extensive array of full service capabilities in marketing communications, printing and direct mail.

The company has 93 employees and its projected 2006 sales are expected to surpass $16.5 million.
