Two Manchester, N.H. print shops merge
Evergreen Press and Keystone Press form Keystone Press LLC
Peter Church, founder and president of Evergreen Press, Manchester, N.H., has acquired Keystone Press, Inc., also of Manchester. The combined companies will be known as Keystone Press, LLC.

“Keystone Press, LLC is the merger of two highly-regarded local commercial printing businesses: Keystone Press, a commercial printer in business since 1915, and Evergreen Press, a business I founded in 1992 to provide overflow printing services for commercial printers,” Church said. “Keystone Press, LLC, as a union shop, is unique in New Hampshire.

“This merger is the culmination of months of planning,” he said. “Over the next several weeks, we’ll be consolidating all of our equipment and staff at the facilities of the former Keystone Press, Inc. at 9 Old Falls Road, Manchester. Everything will be “business as usual” during this transition, and no customer’s printing project will be delayed by the move. The hours of operation and phone numbers remain the same, and, when you call, you’ll hear many of the same voices on the phone.

The combined Keystone and Evergreen Press team is genuinely excited about this merger. We’ll continue to provide services to Evergreen Press trade partners, but our primary focus will be on general commercial printing. Keystone Press, LLC will carry on the tradition of consistent, high quality services at competitive prices. We’ll also be continuing Keystone’s annual “Yesterday and Today” calendar to raise money for local charities.”

Ken Szarek, former general manager added, “My family has owned Keystone since 1969. I was proud to take over from my late father, Ron Szarek in 2002. While it’s a little sad to be moving on, I feel good knowing that I’m leaving the business in Peter’s capable hands. I’m confident that the new Keystone Press team will work very hard to satisfy the customers’ needs in the future. Peter assures me that he will continue the long-time Keystone Press tradition of “quality, service and excellence… every time around.”
