Artcraft buys
Vose Swain from Bowne of Boston The deal affirms Artcraft’s position as one of New England’s leading producers of fine quality stationery and identity materials for corporations, professional firms and law firms. Details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Artcraft president John Dumouchel said Vose Swain will continue to function as usual, and that the Boston-based business will be fully integrated with Artcraft during the year. “This is an exceptional time for our company,” Dumouchel said. “For more than six years we have grown at an aggressive pace in spite of the realities of a lackluster economy. Our industry is undergoing a fundamental transformation. The stakes are high and we intend to remain as a strong player in this new competitive landscape. “Managing this business is challenging but rewarding,” Dumouchel said. “Our growth directly correlates with our business planning efforts. We have had to continue to evolve our business to meet the fluid needs of our customers.”
The Artcraft Company is a 67-year old, family-owned specialty printing business. Since 1939, the company has enabled clients to distinguish themselves with engraving, and other specialty printing techniques. |
