Duncan G. Todd, whose family roots in New England commercial
printing extend back five generations to 1811, has been named the 2005
winner of the Benjamin Franklin Award by the Printing and Publishing

Woburn, Mass. trade finisher upgrades PUR capabilities with
computerized application system
Seaboard Bindery, a bookbinding and post press services
company located in Woburn, Mass., has recently upgraded its PUR (polyurethane
reactive) binding capabilities with the installation of a Nordson binding
system. The machine features an even distribution of glue over a defined
area, greatly reducing makeready, production and wasted glue during

Saltus
Press to produce licensed items for WPBA
The Women’s Professional Billiard Association (WPBA) has signed
Saltus Press to manufacture and distribute a new line
of WPBA branded planners, note pads, stationery, holiday cards, note
cubes, adhesive cubes, ornaments, and even cocktail napkins. Saltus,
a commercial printing company in Worcester, Mass., founded in 1906,
begins work with the WPBA this month. (More)
