Bay State Envelope Company installs Halm color creator
Bay State Envelope Company of Mansfield, Mass., has recently made a significant investment to improve their manufacturing process with the purchase of a new Halm Industries Inc. Color Creator. This is part of their ongoing program to offer better products at better prices to their growing client base.

“Our clients rely on Bay State Envelope to maintain a superior standard of customer service, turnaround and workmanship,” said Bay State Envelope President Russ Frizzell. “The new Color Doser allows us to reduce costs by shortening setup times and managing color more effectively; in short, cheaper, faster, better while improving the color consistency of our printed products.”

The new Color Creator electronically doses spot colors to make mixing ink a faster, cleaner job, and ensures a more precise color match for corporate colors. Using up to 15 base colors, it is Pantone licensed and certified and can store more than 1,000 custom colors. Additional advantages over traditionally wasteful and costly ink mixing are it is environmentally friendly, using “vegetable oil” based inks, it eliminates costly ink disposal systems; and it dries faster.

Printers and other business partners will be pleased to know that they will now be able to purchase ink directly from Bay State Envelope assuring exact color duplication between envelopes and related materials.
