Heidelberg installs equipment throughout region
Several sheetfed presses, two digital presses placed
Heidelberg has been busy placing equipment in numerous printing and graphic communications companies throughout New England and New York in recent months.

Northeast Regional Manager Matt Bennett reported that sheetfed presses, digital presses and finishing equipment have been installed and in most cases are operational at Heidelberg clients throughout the region.

Here is a rundown on recent installations:

In Massachusetts, Copy Connect of Weymouth purchased two-color Printmaster and Quicksetter 300 Computer To Plate device. Sir Speedy Braintree in nearby Braintree, Mass., purchased a Prosetter 74 CTP device with Meta Dimension workflow.

Superior Bindery, a full service bindery in Rockland, Mass. installed a Stahl TD 78 Folder with Zero makeready plates.

Printsmart.net, of East Bridgewater, Mass., a printing entity within the Harte Hanks direct mail company, recently installed two Nexpress 2100 digital presses.

The Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Boston recently installed a cutting device.

J.S. McCarthy Printers in Augusta, Maine, recently installed two Polar 115E cutting systems.

Ram Printing in East Hampstead, N.H., recently installed a six-color Speedmaster CD 74.

In New York, Diamond Packaging in Rochester, N.Y., purchased a Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102. Mod Pac in Buffalo, one of the largest packaging printing companies in the northeastern United States, purchased a Speedmaster CD SPC 102.

In Connecticut, Landmark Documents of Stamford purchased a two-color Printmaster 46.
