Walt Williams has been in business long enough to know that once you begin standing still, it is difficult to get back on top. He started Williams Graphics in the mid 1960s, when photocomposition was in its infancy, and his first imagesetter had only 8 kilobytes of memory. Over the years he has seen many changes, and has learned to survive by being willing to change with the times. The biggest change to affect his business was the introduction of the Macintosh, which in only a few years led to the demise of the entire typesetting industry. (More)
