Environmental Affairs:
Printer towel and uniform service

Since 2002, PINE has had a successful group discount program for uniforms, towels and mats with E&R Cleaners. Earlier this year, Clean Uniforms and More! (New Bedford, MA) acquired E&R Cleaners’ uniform, towel and mat business and became PINE’s new partner.

The partnership between PINE and Clean Uniforms and More! is better positioned to service the needs of printers throughout New England by:
  • Increased service areas. Clean Uniforms and More! kept their original service routes and added the E&R Cleaners routes increasing the total service area covered with more service representatives.
  • Locally cleaned towels. Towels are cleaned at their state-of-the-art laundry facility in New Bedford. Transportation costs are lower keeping towel pricing competitive.
  • Accurate towel counts. Instead of weighing towel drums, towels are hand-counted ensuring accurate usage and accounting.
  • Bar Code Tracking of Uniforms. Clean Uniforms and More! developed their own proprietary bar-code tracking system ensuring no garments are lost.
  • PINE’s commitment to its members. PINE continues to provide its extra level of program oversight and customer service to make sure members are completely satisfied with the program’s service.

Program Benefits

  • Discounted pricing schedule
  • High level of customer service
  • High quality of wiping towels
  • Oversight by PINE
  • Environmentally sound processes
