The following confidential services are included as part of PINE’s regular dues and do not cost members any additional fees:

Plant Audits: Environmental and OSHA plant compliance walk-through visits which typically range from 1-3 hours. A meeting with management to review the findings and recommendations will follow each visit. Upon request, a detailed written report outlining the discussed findings and recommendations will be completed. Follow-up compliance information will be forwarded as requested.

Noise Exposure Walkaround Survey
For no charge, PINE will perform a noise exposure “walkaround survey” of your facility. This consists of taking noise decibel readings with a Sound Level Meter at various locations throughout the facility. (More)

OSHA Compliance Assistance: Review and comment on plant-specific OSHA written programs. Provide management with practical methods for complying with OSHA’s complex rules. In the event of an OSHA inspection, assist with negotiating with OSHA to reduce compliance infractions and fines.

Environmental Compliance Assistance: Assist with completion of environmental reports and permits to agencies such as the EPA, MA DEP, MWRA, NH DES, VT ARD, ME DEP, RI DEM and Narragansett Bay Commission. Assist with mediation of regulatory violations and fines with the above-mentioned agencies.

On-Site Training: Conduct on-site training to member companies for environmental, health and safety issues such as Lockout/Tagout, Hazard Communication (MSDS), Personal Protective Equipment, Forklift Safety and Hazardous Waste Management. Employee group training and individual train-the-trainer sessions are available upon request.

On-Site Specific Assistance: Visit member sites to assist with plant specific environmental and safety issues such as hazardous waste management, flammable storage requirements, indoor air quality complaints, etc.
