Upon request PINE will perform noise dosimeter testing for members.
Noise dosimeter testing determines the 8-hour time weighted average
noise levels as required by OSHA. To see if dosimeter testing
is needed at your facility, an instantaneous noise survey should
be performed first. The instantaneous noise survey is a free service
for PINE members. The noise dosimeter testing cost varies depending
on the number of dosimeters required to complete an accurate survey.
PINE is making this service available to members to assist with
OSHA compliance and give extremely cost effective pricing to limit
the barrier for compliance. Hearing loss for employees is permanent
and could be an expensive workers compensation claim if deemed
work-related. Let PINE help you understand your noise hazard risks
and get you in-compliance with OSHA regulations. Contact Mark
Flannery at 508-804-4107 for assistance.
